Art of Ukraine is dedicated to educating and showcasing the depth of Ukrainian cultural heritage through an array of events: art exhibits, folk craft workshops, and community gatherings.
We also support Ukrainian artists and makers to ensure that the world hears Ukraine’s fascinating tale – through its art. We would love to see you at one of our pop-ups.
The war destroyed many cultural artifacts, eliminated and displaced millions of Ukrainians. But they aren’t faceless victims from a place no one had heard of. They are painters, potters, embroiderers, wood carvers, doll makers and talented artisans from an ancient country with a rich history. Ukrainian culture has long been threatened, and now it is on the verge of eradication.
If you participate in our events, or buy art from our resident artists, you are supporting Ukrainian communities in need. Art of Ukraine helps small nonprofits in Ukraine with various war-related needs including: medicine and care for the elderly, disabled, wounded and orphaned individuals; healthy plant-based food; transportation and housing for the internally displaced. We also sponsor rehabilitation and art therapy for Ukrainian children.
Our big goal for 2023 is to raise enough money to purchase a plot of land in Mykolayiv, Southern Ukraine. We plan to build a rehab center for those who suffered from this insane injustice. If you would like to join us in this mission, please reach out – we would love your help.
