about us

OUR MISSION

Art of Ukraine’s mission is  protecting Ukrainian national identity by creating a platform for Ukrainian folk art and sharing its beauty with the world. We started with California, but we have big plans! We create art-centered events and public engagement installations that connect the American community with Ukrainians on a person-to-person level.
We also offer various workshops and educational programs that promote Ukrainian folk art as a healing and expressive modality In Ukraine, we proudly support small town artisans and makers, folk art teachers and craft masters, as well as art-curious children and youth.

We are a new organization, but our team is growing quickly. We collaborate with the most incredible people! Creatives of all kinds: artists,, educators, makers and builders. And we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without amazing volunteers that give their time and expertise to make Art of Ukraine events possible. If you feel called to support traditional Ukrainian art in any way – please reach out to us! We would love to discuss how we can collaborate and create something special together. Say hi!

Our Community

Ukrainian culture has long been threatened, and now it is on the verge of eradication. We support the children, who will live to show the world what Ukraine stands for. We support the elderly, because they are our treasures – painters, potters, embroiderers, wood carvers, doll makers and talented artisans from an ancient country with a rich history.
