Support for refugee children
We provide education and rehabilitation to children who are fleeing the war and arrive to the United States from Ukraine. Our programs connect kids with their cultural heritage and give them a chance to celebrate their language and art.
Today, it is more important than ever to encourage kids to use their creativity to combat psychological damage caused by war. Art of Ukraine is proud to work with the San Francisco Unified School District and TEL HI Beacon Center to help Ukrainian newcomer students stay connected with their home and heal through the magic of folk art.

Cultural enrichment programs
Conscious approach to crafting is at the core of all our classes, and we pride ourselves on our unique curriculums. Our recent pilot program at Francisco Middle School for newcomer students from different countries helped children re-connect with themselves and gain valuable skills, while immersed in the beauty of flowers, yarns, fabrics, music and play.
The concept of intentional art-making we teach our students instills values of mindfulness, non-judgmental creativity and positive self-affirmation. Folk art workshops
Our signature workshops for adults and children center Ukrainian folk art as a healing modality and encourage a mindful approach to crafting. Mindfulness and depth of meaning are at the core of all our classes, and we are proud to partner with compassionate teaching artists and educators.
