You’ll learn the beautiful history of Ukraine’s signature floral painting and traditional embroidered garments, get a chance to buy your favorite art piece at the auction and even participate in unique craft workshops. Lot’s of fun activities await! Kids-friendly, the whole family is welcome!

Visiting the exhibit is FREE with RSVP. Workshops are $40 for children and $60 for adults.

About the art:

Embroidery. Art of Ukraine’s mission is creating a platform for Ukrainian folk art and sharing its beauty with the world. We proudly support small town artisans and we are thrilled to showcase embroidered garments handcrafted by master artists from the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Western Ukraine this month. May is the month of our favorite Ukrainian holiday – Day of Ukrainian National Garment – Vyshyvanka. You’ll have a chance to learn why this colorful clothing piece is such a meaningful and truly integral part of Ukrainian identity.

Paintings. Petrykivka ornamental style is an old Ukrainian tradition with a beautiful history. 2023 marks ten years since it was added to UNESCO’s list of Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Maria Yanenko’s paintings are an exquisite example of this long-admired Ukrainian art. Born and raised in the Petrykivka village, Maria is continuing a long line of traditional artists and she is a prominent member of the National Union of Ukrainian Painters.

BEST PART! You can take home these one of a kind pieces of Ukrainian history. We will be auctioning off all the paintings and embroidered garments. Your contribution helps us support more artists and protect Ukraine’s legacy. Stay tuned, auction link coming soon!

But that’s not all…

Step into our village atmosphere and enjoy floral art and decor, our “Museum Store” with textiles, jewelry, and other Ukrainian goods. Mobile Museum, projector room, vintage vinyls and many other surprises await.
